Condition
sturdy, solid, and nicely upholstered--presents well, the wood surfaces have been nicely polished; left-facing front leg with repaired break at upper juncture, with pinned / pegged repair evident; right-facing front leg with some repairs at upper juncture, near where it meets side rails; the left-facing and back seat rail appears to be original, while the front and right-facing seat rail have been re-built / replaced- and with later corner blocks to back two corners of seat rail; the veneered scrolled returns appear to be old- and have been reattached to frame; repaired breaks to both armrests at upright joints, and to both stiles at seat frame joints; the dust cover to underside of frame has been removed for full inspection of frame; the upholstery has not been removed
